Felix AkumehFelix Akumeh, M, Ghana

Felix previously attended Haven Academy, Every Child Ministries' school for children living at our Haven of Hope children's home and needy village children.  Felix's father died and Felix, his mother, and his sister Grace moved to Medie Mountain.

Felix's mother needs help to send Felix to school at Medie Mountain.  This is not a school affiliated with Every Child Ministries, but because of the circumstance, we want to offer assistance to the family.  Grace already has sponsorship.  Would you consider show love to this family and sponsoring Felix?

A  SPONSOR'S TESTIMONY:

"We consider it a privilege to help make a child's life better by giving to ECM so they can show the love of Jesus Christ in practical and tangible ways.  I personally love that I can pray for these children daily, knowing that God hears prayer and is using ECM to draw them into a meaningful life-long relationship with Jesus!

New At Haven of Hope
Children's Home

/files/Child sponsorship pictures/HHH/Hannah Osei web.jpgHannah Osei, F, Ghana

Hannah was born February 7, 2002.  When she was only 5 years old her mother passed away.  After hearing that she was being mistreated at her previous residence, Hannah’s grandfather, Goffrey Osei, lamented over the care of Hannah and her well being. Currently, her grandfather is building a house near Haven Academy where he plans to take care of Hannah and her cousin, Emmanuel.  Unfortunately, the grandfather cannot work, build the house and adequately supervise the children.  For the next year, he has asked that Hannah stay at Haven of Hope while he finishes building the house for her and Emmanuel to live in.
Due to the circumstances, Hannah’s sponsorship would only be temporary.  For the next year or two, Hannah will live at Haven of Hope where she will receive proper supervision, love and care while her grandfather builds their future home.  She will also learn more about Christ and how much He loves Hannah.

Paul Oppong Baubeng, M, Ghana/files/Child sponsorship pictures/HHH/Paul Oppong Buabeng-web.jpg

Paul was born April 21, 2000 with his twin brother, Peter.  Unfortunately, their mother died during child birth.  As a result, their father rejected them, blaming the boys for the death of their mother.  At only one day old, the boys experienced ritual abuse and were left to die.  Thankfully, a nun rescued the boys and took them to a hospital.
Currently, Paul is in Primary 4 (4th grade).  He lives a hard life because of the traditional ritual that was performed on him when he was only one day old. (More information can be given to sponsor on request) Paul also suffers from Sickle Cell disease (SC).  He often suffers from cold hand and feet as well as whole body aches.

Samuel (Adu) OwusuaSamuel Owusua, M, Ghana

Samuel and his brother Edward were left on their own for long periods at a time while their father searched for work.  They ate from garbage cans and once got violently ill.  They were always in danger of drowning because they lived near a large drainage ditch that overflowed during the rainy season.

Now both boys lead healthy, happy lives living at Haven of Hope, and are fully sponsored for their care.  But Samuel needs a sponsor for his Haven Academy education because he recently lost that sponsor.
