Part of Every Child Ministries' effectiveness and cost-efficiency has been our emphasis on working through African nationals. Sponsoring an African national is a cost-effective way of using your mission dollars. National missionaries know the language, the culture, and the hearts of the people. They are accustomed to using local modes of transportation, eating local food, and living in local accommodations. They need less training than Westerners and take no furlough. While recognizing the unique contributions of Western missionaries, Every Child Ministries is also pleased to support the work of nationals. ECM does a lot more at a lot less cost because we emphasize partnership with African nationals.

When you support an African national through Every Child Ministries, you get a picture of your missionary and regularly receive letters and reports, and you can send letters of encouragement to him. ECM provides translation service when needed.  Many of our faithful missionary workers are under-supported.  Would you ask God what He might have YOU to do?
