Children at Haven of Hope children's home, ECM's home for former street and slave children in Ghana needing sponsorship

Comfort Ayitso Emmanuel Nii Okai Okine
#189, 2 year old female #190, 4 year old male
Comfort and Nii Okai are brother and sister. Social welfare dealt with some behavior from the mother that gave us concern about the children, but they seem to be adjusting well at Haven of Hope with no problems.
The children have different fathers, and the mother seems to not know who the fathers are. At Haven of Hope, the children will have safety, nutritious regular meals, love from our housemothers, and regular teaching from God's Word. Won't you consider sponsorship of Comfort or Nii Okai?

Children living at Haven of Hope needing sponsorship for their education at Haven Academy, ECM's school for educationally disadvantaged children in Ghana
Prince Asante
#125, 10 year old male
According to the mother, the father denied responsibility for Prince. Prince's mother helped her own mother with a donut business, but debt forced them to close and the family ended up on the street.
Prince now lives at Haven of Hope children's home and needs a sponsorship to provide his education at Haven Academy. Prince's education will keep him from returning to a hopeless situation - no education and no job. Thank you for providing this very important need!

Ernest Agbozo Ismaila Hebatu Daniel Yevu

These children all come from underprivileged families and live in the village. They are attending Haven Academy, ECM's school. Haven Academy offers the best education by taking the best from both American and Ghanaian teachings and combining them.
The families of these children are barely getting by, and your sponsorship support will ensure that the children receive the education that they want and that they need. Your sponsorship pays for tuition, books, bookbags, uniforms, and school supplies, as well as Christian teaching.
Will you pray about sponsoring one of these children's education?

Orphans in Congo needing sponsorship
Kikwit, the large and rapidly growing town where these orphans live, is the capital of the Bandundu Province of Congo. Since Every Child Ministries began work in Congo in 1985, the paved road from Kinshasa has disintegrated, becoming a labyrinth of dirt and mud roads weaving themselves around the broken down highway like so many knots. To make matters worse, during the civil wars of the 1990's, virtually all the bridges were destroyed, and there are several river crossings along the way. The trip now takes a week or so and breakdowns along the way are frequent due to extreme wear on vehicles.
Pastor Mayele started the Kikwit orphans project as a personal way of helping the numerous orphans of the area. Some of these were orphaned in 1995 during the deadly Ebola epidemic, of which Kikwit was the epicenter. Others were orphaned as a result of the civil wars of the 1990's, still others from other diseases and natural causes. He began giving some of the orphans of his area supplemental feeding, supporting it from his own pocket. Now that Pastor Mayele has moved to Kinshasa to serve as National Director, he is unable to continue supporting the work. ECM has agreed to continue the work and expand it, considering the plight of many orphans of the area. Pastor Meya now leads the ECM Orphans Project. These children are in desperate need of your help. Sponsorship projects help with school fees, Christian teaching, supplemental feeding, and medical care as needed. Most of all it shows them they are not forgotten. It is easy for them to understand that God cares about them when they see that some person also cares. Would you show your love to them today?
