Felicia GH-HH854

Felicia Addison and her sister Hanna lost their father when they were very young. Their mother was unemployed and resorted to alcoholism to escape the pains of her life. The girls were not being properly cared for or provided for. They often went to bed at night with no food. The girls had to leave school because they could no longer pay the school fees. For a while they lived in a kiosk (a little street stand) because they could not pay rent anywhere and they had been evicted from their home. As the girls got older, someone connected them with our ECM staff. To protect the girls from becoming pregnant on the streets and falling into an even worse lifestyle, they were brought to Haven of Hope. Since they settled in there they have been doing much better. Their mother is doing better but is still not able to care for them. They enjoy going to the school and living at the Home and are so thankful for their sponsorship!
