Bolumbu is a young girl who is part of ECM's Deaf Ministry in Congo. She lives with her mother and younger brother. Bolumbu was very sick and fell into a coma - when she woke, she was deaf, and the family has struggled to help her. Bolumbu's father abandoned them and her mother struggles to care for the children and their basic needs. Through our sponsorship program, Bolumbu will be able to attend a Christian school specializing in educating the deaf.
