Naomi enjoys reading books and playing with her friends. She lives with her maternal aunt, who does small farming for a living, and three siblings. Her parents entrusted Naomi to her aunt because in their region it is very difficult to get access to good education, and human trafficking is very prevalent there. Naomi has two other siblings that live with her parents. Due to their impoverished situation, Naomi struggles at school and falls behind her classmates. Naomi also needs extra medical care for her deteriorating skin, due to her albinism.
